How to Join

New Members

If you are interested in joining CRECHE:

Step One – Email our membership team at registration.creche@gmail.com

Please include your daytime phone number. Someone will contact you as soon as possible.

Step Two – Complete and submit the needed forms.

All new members must complete Protecting God’s Children and other Safe Environment Forms as required by the Rockford Diocese. CRECHE must have a PGC certificate on file, and all Safe Environment Forms completed before any membership can be approved. Once forms are submitted, approval of memberships will take a minimum of 72 hours.

[Please obtain a PDF file of your PGC certificate and email that to us. Please print, fill out, and scan/photograph the completed Safe Environment Forms and email PDF files of those as well.] Email all forms to registration.creche@gmail.com

You may take the Protecting God’s Children class for the Rockford Diocese at Virtus Online. If you have completed Protecting God’s Children in another diocese, it will NOT transfer. You must complete Protecting God’s Children specifically for the Rockford Diocese.

Step Three – Pay the required dues

Once you are approved for CRECHE membership, you may mail a check, or you may attend one of our in-person registration events during the summer to pay by cash or check.

Step Four – Policies and expectations

ALL NEW MEMBERS should read and become familiar with CRECHE Policies and Expectations.
