We have been invited to join the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary in Batavia for an Outdoor Procession and May Crowning Ceremony. We will also listen to the sisters talk about religious life and learn how they live out their vocation in various ministries.

Meet at 9:30 a.m. at Nazareth Spirituality Center (behind the residence) to organize our group for the procession. Food for the reception can be dropped off at this time. Flowers, rosaries, programs, and flower crowns for the girls will be distributed. (Flower crowns and rosaries will be provided.)

The procession will begin at 10:00 a.m. We will sing and have the crowning ceremony, followed by a light lunch and cake. The sisters will provide a cake, and we will provide the rest.

Attire: The sisters have asked that everyone come dressed in their Sunday best. Girls are encouraged to wear dresses or skirts, and First Communicants should wear their dresses or suits. Boys should try to wear white or light blue dress shirts.

Dress for the weather! The crowning will take place come rain or shine. Bring jackets or umbrellas if necessary. For the most part, the procession will be on pavement, but we will end up in a grassy area.

THE SIGN UP DEADLINE FOR THIS EVENT HAS PASSED.
